The reports were prepared to take stock of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries’ policy frameworks for climate change adaptation and resilience in agriculture, and to inform future project activities. They cover topics such as climate change adaptation plans and programmes; soil and water policy; monitoring and early warning systems; pest, disease and invasive species management; resilient seeds and plant varieties; advisory services for farmers; and innovation policy. They also analyse additional policies relevant to the EaP countries’ alignment with the EU Green Deal such as pesticide and fertiliser use, organic agriculture and environmental standards/certification. Additionally, the reports identify initial policy gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.
